International Wolf Center - June 11, 2010

The video this week gives you the sights and sounds of an environment that has the benefits of recent rains. Vegetation is lush and green as we are approaching the summer season, gray tree frogs are singing, and if you listen closely, you can hear a loon in the background. Summer also means insects, staff use a combination of pine and cedar shavings to provide the wolves a comfortable place to rest and a bit of cedar oil as a natural insect repellent.
